HEY Y'ALL!

Hey everyone! Right now we are in Tennessee! We got here yesterday. I will try and get some pictures on here soon, but I don't know if I can load any pictures from the laptop I'm on now. So anyway, in the meantime, I hope everyone is having a great holiday.

A poem for Moms everywhere

A Child's Angel

Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born.
So one day he asked God:

They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow
but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?

Among the many angels, I chose one for you.
She will be waiting for you and will take care of you.

But tell me, here in Heaven, I don't do anything else but sing and smile,
that's enough for me to be happy.

Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day.
And you will feel your angel's love and be happy.

And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me,
if I don't know the language that men talk?

Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear,
and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.

And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?

Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.

I've heard that on earth there are bad men. Who will protect me?

Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.

But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.

Your angel will always talk to you about me and
will teach you the way for you to come back to me,
even though I will always be next to you.

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven,
but voices from earth could already be heard,
and the child in a hurry asked softly:
Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.

Your angel's name is of no importance, you will call your angel:
Mommy

Happy Birthday, Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom's well deserved bounty: a travel toiletries bag, a purse, a wallet, tennis shoes, 2 necklaces, a ring, some earrings, a key chain, and a book.
Talking to uncle Chip
"Yeah finally a nice wallet!"

Monday was mom's 41st birthday(yes I do realize I just told you how old she was, but don't worry She doesn't mind. I don't think. :)! Sunday we celebrated with Grandma Daniels and Uncle Tommy. Then on Monday we went to the Melting Pot for dinner and then went home and opened presents.

Rock Climbing!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday night our family went to a indoor rock climbing place. Mom, daddy, and I belayed* and all of us climbed. Me belaying Brianna
Nice to meet you I am Spider man. Hi I'm spider girl. :)
Pose for the picture(even though your 12 feet in the air)
Greyson on his way back down from his exhilarating climb.
Mom and I on top of the cliff in the middle of the building. (you can't tell but at the moment the picture was taken mom was completely freaking out. She does not like heights.)
Mom and I on top of the cliff

Daddy belaying Greyson

Spider boy and Spider girl
Miss monkey

*For those of you who didn't know, belaying is like spotting in gymnastics except for rock climbing. The belayer stands at the bottom of the rock and has a rope attached to them that's also attached to the person and helps the person go up and come down safely, just in case you fall you don't kill yourself. Although it doesn't make me feel any safer. :)

Early Thanksgiving

Thursday was our homeschool co-op(Classical Conversations) Thanksgiving dinner. The younger kids were allowed to dress-up as a Character from American History. You can guess what Greyson is. Yeah he dressed up as himself. Don't know where that fits into American History, but who knows. He does want to be president someday. Now guess who Brianna is(Don't worry she is not dressed up as herself).

Yeah she's Governor Sarah Palin. She had asked me the night before "What should I dress up as" and I answered"Sarah Palin". So that night we worked on what she was going to say and her costume. On Thursday she said, "I'm getting a lot of respect" and everyone was calling her Miss Palin. She loved it. Anyway, we had a lot of fun and got stuffed with food. Can't wait till next year's Thanksgiving dinner!

I've been tagged!

Okay so my aunt Tami tagged me and I thought the idea was so cool. So here's my picture.

But first the rules.
1. pick the fourth picture folder on your computer.
2. pick the fourth picture in that folder.
3. explain what the picture is about.
4. tag four blogging friends to do the same.

Anyway so for the explanation to this picture. This is my best friend's younger brother, Logan. When I was at my friend's house, we were watching Peter Pan and obviously were bored. So we were taking pictures and this is what they turned out like. So there you have it my fourth picture in my fourth picture folder.

And since I really don't know anyone who has a blog, except those who've already been tagged, I'm not tagging anyone :). Anyway, if anyone who reads this has a blog and has not yet been tagged, I am now tagging you. Hah :).

Our mountain weekend, part two

Here are some more pics of our weekend. When we got to the cabin this is what mom was doing, cleaning, ...........
...while the men were playing air hockey. That just proves that moms really do, do all the work. Thanks mom. :)Okay, so there's a funny story behind this. Saturday morning, Greyson, Brianna, and Cole were awake and -well- loud so I go downstairs and eat breakfast, but after I'm done I go back upstairs to try and get more sleep and lo and behold, this is what I see. Mom and Dad had taken my futon mattress (their room's wall did not go all the way up to the ceiling, so they could here everything), put it in the bathroom, closed the door, and were sleeping on it. Funny.
Who's this? Oh yeah, Cole.
Finally, we get to eat!
We had a fun weekend. Hope you had fun looking at our pictures.
